The Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is the only AZA-approved zoo in the state of Connecticut. The zoo includes one of the few carousels in the state.
Beardsley Zoo is an accredited, state-of-the-art, non-profit facility operating year-round to care for over 100 species, including some potentially facing extinction and being critically endangered. They inspire stewards of all ages to ensure a positive future for wild places and wildlife.
